I discovered a fabulous space at the CMB building on campus. Right between studio 4C and 4D, at the end of hallway, there is a stairway with the most amazing reverberance. It is truly remarkable and reminds me of a cathedral of sorts, hence the title of the project Stairway Cathedral.

I did these recordings with an Electro voice 635 omni-mic and a flash recorder. I bang on the railing, various pipes, the door and sing.
